Team Building

We created a Team Building Program based off our original event 'AFQY' and our "Meet the person, not their suit" approach to connection.

Connection is one of the five pillars of well being and you can't do 3 of the remaining four without connecting first - so connection provides a lot of value to wellbeing of the people in your teams.

Connection is key

Often large organisations have as many people as a small town, and seldom do they know each other, except where they actually do work together. Walking past strangers who are tasked with the same why and mission doesn't help them work towards the single goal.

Often personalities or even politics can get in the way, or simply a feeling of "It's not my job, I'll leave it to whoever is meant to do it," when we all know, we all wear many hats and often have to step up, fill in, or help out - which doesn't happen in a team full of strangers.

Shape the culture

Even worse, a toxic culture and 'bad blood' can grow from an event, and often mediation, one-on-ones and other typical managment processes don't have an effect other than gaining lips service.

To truely move on from an issue, people need to connect as people, we see it time and time again. We've helped turn a publicly known toxic culture into an award winning culture.

People are human

We aim on connecting people as people, not their work or role so a personal connection can be built that transcends any work issues and supports more enjoyable personal life and greater productivity for work.

We have help with:

  • Immediate Culture shift

  • Getting teams back in the office

  • Absentism and Presenteism

  • Making work fun, psychologically safe by creating a sense of belonging.

It's a Program

The program isn't a pone-and-one event, but it does start with in person events and then ongoing get-togethers are created from the output of the event, ensuring connection across the department or organisation - in short people help those they know, and in doing so enjoy their work and are more productive without effort.

Leaders lead

As a leader, you have the opportunity to make a difference, to make a choice that helps people turn up as their best selves everyday.

It is expected to invest in your people, your tools, your technology, but few address their team as a team.

Bringing everyone together and sharing your passion for what each of them do to enable the greater team recognises them which is an important part of creating team culture over individualism.
